After the “painful” separation from Rony that was we us for 3 weeks and from the rest of the family we headed towards our next stop near Wallace ID.
We explored the the main attractions in this small beautiful town, the railroad depot, the bordello house and had a picnic near the theater.
Actually we expected to see many people on the streets and were quite surprised to see that the place has so little visitors especially on Saturday.
We booked a place to the old theater and saw a melodrama about mining and trying to trick the one that found gold, at the end of the show we had a chance to meet the young actors and have a chat.
On the following day we did a side trip through some ghost towns and tunnels and tried to imagine how people lived with these conditions in the past.
Fern Falls was of course on our list ,a 15 mile gravel road drive and a short hike brought us to this fabulous falls, we ere there all by our selves till we got back to the truck and found one more family as they came in, this is what is great in this huge country -so many great natural places to visit and see so it will be crowded only in the most famous places and close to the parking lots....
The water was ice cold but I could not resist.
Had to wash the truck after that dusty gravel road, good job Shula, I sure will use your services in the future…
Sunsets at the end of the day with soft music on the way “home”
