Just South on HWY 178 and HWY 11 in SC is located a beautiful Table Rock S.P http://www.southcarolinaparks.com/tablerock/directions.aspx that offers hikes from different levels,beach by the lake and picnic areas.
As the weather was not very promising we decided not to hike to the top of the mountain (7.5 miles round trip) and get stuck there is a storm so we hiked along the creek for 2 miles that offers beautiful spots on almost every turn.
We managed to get back to the picnic area have light lunch before the skies became dark and rain came down as from a bucket-and this is called SUMMER in this part of the world…but we had a great 5 days camping in Lazy J C.G http://www.lazyjcampground.com/ in Rosman NC ,doing all these great side trips and meeting with some great folks- moving tomorrow to TN…see you all down the road.
