We RV every summer for 4-5 months since 2002 ,each summer to different states enjoying hiking, scenic drives, meeting with people , some of them we meet once ,some few times and some stay in touch and become friends.
We call ourselves “SUMMER FULL TIMERS” what leave us all winter free.
The trailer is stored at the end of the trip in North America and we are back home in Israel where the winter is mild and staying at home is not an option, so every winter we travel to explore new places and I must say we are doing not to bad, in the last 5 winter we visited :Vietnam,Philipines,Thailand,Georgia (Asia),Vienna,Cyprus and others,
This December we celebrated our 55 year Anniversary and decided to do it in Phapos Cyprus (last year we celebrated in Vienna).
A 50 minutes direct flight from Tel-Aviv and we were in a different world.
Low coast flights, Villa with a view , a Car all shared with another couple for 5 days was very reasonable price to0 pay.
We consecrated on the West of Cyprus visiting wineries, waterfalls, old beautiful villages, eating great food and mainly celebrating everyday all day..
The weather was fine for four days and started to rain only on the fifth day when we were ready to fly back,it seems that the sky was crying as we were leaving..
Xmass decorations were everywhere and it was especially beautiful when it was dark when all the lights were on.
The most difficult part was driving on the left side of the road , on the wrong side..wow that was tough, first look to the right when crossing, or take the roundabout from the left side of it, but we made it with no special events except some screams in the car....
We still will be doing some winter/spring short trips befor heading to Oklahoma to pick our rig and discover part of Texas and Lousianna in summer 2019.
Happy New Year.
