Tavor Stream Natural Reserve-Israel

Spring brings with it blossom, smells and perfect weather to hike in the nature.

We took advantage  for a 7Mile hike in the South East of the the Galil region in North of Israel just east of Mount Tabor https://www.bibleplaces.com/mounttabor/

A bus picked the people of our hiking  group starting at 7AM and at 8:30 after having breakfast we started to hike the trail passing through colorful pastures, streams  all the way to high view points.

As you can see we do not have a lot of water but when we see some it is  a big celebration like we stroke “gold”, at this season we were still able to experience a weak stream and a small waterfall before it all gets dry in the hot sun of the summer.

The climb to the top of the mountain was very rewarding , in some cases we had to use iron steps built into the stone but the views , the fresh air and the atmosphere were worth every step.

Flowers , birds and cows (No bears…) completed the picture and added to this great hiking day in North of Israel, there is a lot to see in our small country,Shores of the Medditernian sea, ancient cities such as Jerusalem,Acko,Nazaret, teh Dead sea at the lowest place on Earth and a lot of history- going back to when Abraham walked the land just 5000 or so years ago....it sure worth a visit.

We are ready for the next adventure….Jeep Trip to Georgia Asia in June, till then we wish you all to do things you want to do NOW….because today is the FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF OUR LIVES.

I have to admit that Israel does not look like what I expected. Thanks!
