As each grandchild reaches the age of 12/13 we take them with us on a one month trip as a birthday present
This year it was the turn of our 4th granddaughter Rony to join us, the general plan was to fly with her to Toronto to visit our youngest son and his family so Rony will have a chance to meet and spend time with her uncle and cousins, after a few days fly to Spokane where our rig spent the winter in a friends property, camp with Rony in North Idaho till her parents meet with us close to the end of July and “kidnap” her ….
The meeting in Toronto with the Uncles and cousins was great , we all had a ball but as always it was too short and staying longer meant less RV camping time...so we flew to Spokane and had the rig ready to go in 3 days.
In Spokane it was not only preparing the rig for the trip,we found time to travel to Cour d'Alen and meet friends in the area all to make Rony enjoying her time.
Finally we said good buys to our dear friends in Spokane that took good care after our rig during the whole winter and headed to Moyie Springs Idaho, the C.G was all you could ask for, full hookups, spacious sites, shade, clean bathrooms and great beach.
As side trips we visited and hiked few waterfalls in the area,Cooper Falls,Snow falls and Moyie Falls
Trying to let Rony experience different activities we did some water activities and visiting some small towns.
Almost 3 weeks past with Rony not seeing her parents and brother and finally the the day came on the 25 July when they arrived to meet us near Farragut S.P Idaho where we spent all together another 3 marvelous days.
Our hosts and now dear friends made our stay enjoyable and comfortable as possible, it included a boat ride on the lake and a movie in the back yard, we thank them for this precious time.
So after a farewell party our son,his wife ,Rony and her brother took off to Yellowstone while we continued our journey in Idaho heading to Wallas I.D
Next grand-kid to join us is Rony's bother Tal but only in 4-5 years.....
Hope Rony is going away with many good memories...
