A day trip to Sun Valley Idaho

Leaving the 5W in Jerome I.D we took a day trip North to Sun Valley Idaho,

Our first stop on this great trip was the Ice Cave, it was hard to believe that an Ice Cave can be real in the middle of this desert, but we decided to give it a shot and cool off.

For $10 we were taken for a guided tour into the cave (bring a light coat,it is cold...) it was a special adventure and added to the list of special; things we did.

Next to the Ice Cave lays The Magic Black Canyon, not very known but sure worth a visit.

Any source of water is refreshing especially in the desert.

The rock formation are nothing we have seen so far, the are smoothed by the water and have different interesting shapes resembling sometimes of different animals.

Just across the bridge lays the Old  “busy “Hwy 93

Hailey,Ketchum and SunValley are 3 beautiful towns close to the ski lifts that make them a tourist attraction not only in the winter, the are tossed in a valley surrounded by high desert mountains and this contrasts only adds to the beauty.

Fine dinning, boutiques, galleries and beautiful groomed streets are a signature in Ketchum, it is a must see place , good Ice cream too...

On the way back we saw this small herd of horses , I just had to stop and take a shot they are such a majestic animals.

Another thing was to watch the big machine collect the alfalfa from the field and “throwing” it into a truck that is driving next to it in the same path and speed, as it is done some pray birds like a hock sit and wait to catch mouse than run to hide.

Collecting memories and learning new things every day.
