Blackfoot Idaho

In the next 3 days Blackfoot was our base from where we took off for day trips with only the tow.

It was time for an oil and engine filter change , so we made an appointment with a local garage that at our request used Ford original parts, it was quick and unpainful....

As the oil change was done in an hour early in the morning it left us time for visiting the famous Potato Museum in town and taste one big one with toppings, woow that was a whole meal.

As we walked out of the museum we noticed an advertisement for free shows in the local theater, so we obviously were curious to see what is it all about, here we were the only people in the theater watching a private musical show by 4 lovely students....

The town is loaded by beautiful murals, I tried to catch some without parking cars and got a few. It sure would be nice to walk the streets as they were before.

The next day was dedicated to beautiful city of Idaho Falls, the Snake River runes in the middle of the town creating a park from both side of the river with falls all along , in one corner near the bridge is a small nice Japanese Garden that is worth strolling through.

By now we became hungry and chose the local brewery with a lot of atmosphere for our late lunch, the food and the beer were good although it was tough to chose from all kinds of beers they offered, but at the end we enjoyed the ones we got.

The great couple that hosted us in Blackfoot own a business in Pocatello , so we dropped by to visit them and see the process how they can print anything on a T shirt, I did not know how complected it is…

That is a great area to explore. We've stayed at the fairgrounds several times.
