Oregon Gorge

We have visited Oregon Gorge 8 years ago and have seen and hiked the ones that were along the Old Gorge HWY.

This time we took the time to hike to Aloha Falls and others of the beaten path.

7 waterfalls in 8 hours and 6miles hikes....

I suggest not to go on the weekends ,it is to crowded and very hard to find parking.

The old Hwy has more to offer than only waterfalls, recreation parks, vistas and lavender farms.

All in all it is a Waterfalls paradise and one that has the time and the will to hike can enjoy this area for many days, we did...

I wish we could hike but Jim's back and my ankle aren't up to it anymore. But I do so love your waterfall pictures. Thank you.

I worked over in Richland Wa for 5 1/2 years and toured the Gorge as often as I could. It never got tiring. the Deschutes River rail trail was a favorite bike ride for me. Thanks for the memories.

Oregon is one state that we really want to visit, especially the Oregon Gorge. Your pictures make it look so inviting. One day when we don't have to work in the summer we will go and explore this area. Glad that you were able to go back a second time.
