Twin Falls Idaho is not all about Shoshone Falls, but they are very impressive even now in mid August, we were lucky to catch some shots with rainbow showing its great colors.
There are numerous ways to get the the falls ,all lead to fantastic views and it is difficult to go wrong.
Just a short drive North East from Twin Falls along HWY 30 lies Thousand Springs State Park,Box Canyon is one of the most beautiful places we decided to visit.
The hike starts from a small parking lot located on E3200S ,at first it is leveled for a mile or so and takes a sharp turn into the canyon , it is slippery and steep ,so the park installed a wire to help along the way down /up.
The views are stunning and it is sure rewording doing the 2.5 Mile round trip ,there is a nice beach at the end of the hike at the bottom of the canyon , walk with hiking shoes but bring some water shoes and a swimsuit with you and a lot of drinking water.
The water is clear with a greenish colors from the vegetation, a great hike and not crowded at all the time we were there.
All the way back on Hwy 30 many waterfalls could be seen from a distance, we sure were very happy to visit this special place .
Great nature, great weather and a great day.

When we were in Twin Falls, it had been a really dry year so very little water was coming over. But your pictures make me want to see it again.
