16 June Crossing from Canada to USA

After a great day and a rest in Woodstock N.B we woke up to a beautiful sunny day ,a duck family was swimming in the river ,the waters were so still that a great reflection was visible from the other bank.

With some difficulties and sorrow we hooked up the trailer to the truck and headed to the US boarder.

At that morning there was very poor traffic through this particular crossing and we had to wait 10 minutes in line till the custom officer showed.

The whole process of entering the US took us about an hour, in this time our trailer was checked, forms were filled, pictures and finger prints were done and finally we were on our way to our next destination.

But before that we stopped to get supplies and stock the trailer and fridge with groceries from the local Wal-Mart,and after 3 hours and some $ less in the bank we continued South West to Medway , a small town situated in the center of Katahdin and Baxter S.P.

This will be our home base for a week or so as the trailer will sit in the C.G we will explore this fantastic natural area that is blessed with lakes, waterfalls, game and many hiking trails, this is also the last part of the famous Appalachian Trail, so we are very exited for our close future plans.
