This beautiful island is the largest island in fresh waters,it has many inlets,ports ,
lakes and Indian history,the lookouts are just fantastic and it looks like paradise.
On the way we stopped to view one of the waterfalls and were surprised to see this huge water turtle and some water snakes.
The Island is connected to the mainland with a one lane bridge that opens once an hour to let the tall boats pass,it was a nice one day ride and we will be coming there again on Sunday for the big POW WOW.

WE know that island very well as we have friends there. You could actually boondock with them. They have a large property. We almost bought a house there before we came to Campobello. Are you coming this way as wel, or is that too far for this year?

I would love to come over your direction but we are heading to the US boarder to Michigan-Wisconsin and Illinois-maybe next time.
